In July, 2006 I traveled with my daughter, Shawna, to Lusaka, Zambia to begin an exciting recording project to benefit African street kids, many orphaned by disease and poverty. With the organizational support of Alongside International and the financial support of interested friends and family we were able to share an incredible life-changing experience.

It was Shawna's third trip to Zambia and my first. We worked for two weeks connecting with the boys, talking about the project, teaching the material and finally recording their voices on 4 songs.

Shawna, a singer/songwriter and recording artist has now completed this CD project entitled Must Be Love that features the voices of these kids on several tunes and will build support through The Lazarus Project in Lusaka to help many others to come off the streets and begin rebuilding their lives.
